A code of ethics has been in place at the institution since September 29, 2016, following its adoption by the board of directors.

The code covers all clinical and non-clinical staff, physicians, residents, intermediate and family resources, volunteers, midwives, contractors and interns who serve people receiving direct care and services.

It covers the duties and obligations of professionals working at the CISSS Outaouais while fulfilling the public health and social services mission.

The Code of ethics also calls upon users to assume their responsibilities with respect to the care and services provided by staff.
