Rehabilitation program

Specialized addiction rehabilitation services are provided to people with alcohol, drug, gambling and addiction problems. These accompaniment and support services are also for the people around them.

How do I access the services?

The person who wishes to receive addiction services can contact the Centre de réadaptation en dépendance at 819-776-5584 or go to 25 St-François Street in the Hull sector.

Following this initial assessment and according to the needs expressed, the person will be referred to the rehabilitation service.

The service is provided by psychosocial workers (social workers, specialized educators, criminologists, etc.).

What can I expect?

Services are offered in several modalities: group, individual or couple.

Group activities are to be favoured according to the recommendations of best practices in addiction. There are also individual follow-up services for clients with contraindications to group intervention or for English-speaking clients at points of service other than Hull.

The length of service is a maximum of one year if monitoring is continuous.

Where and when do the services take place?

Addiction rehabilitation services are offered in most CLSCs in the region. It is at the time of the initial assessment and referral to services that the individual will be directed to the point of service in his or her territory.
