Medical day hospital
A medical day hospital provides outpatient care and services, i.e. care needed by an ambulatory patient following hospitalization or for the treatment of certain specific conditions. This may include injections, removal of sutures, post-operative wound care, etc.
Outpatient care and services are also provided at outpatient clinics and local community service centres (CLSCs) (refer to the section Care and services in the community).

For users requiring different intravenous treatments (transfusion of blood and blood derivatives and so forth) and different tests, as well as those who require plasmapheresis treatments, services are provided at:
- Hull Hospital
Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:45 p.m.
