Immunology and allergy
The immunology and allergy outpatient clinic specializes in the investigation and treatment of allergies and provides related consultation and follow-up services.
How do I access the services?
The department provides care to people of all ages with allergies that may cause anaphylactic shock.
A consultation request must be sent by the referring physician. The application will be assigned a priority timeframe.
A secretary from the outpatient clinic will contact you to schedule an appointment.
Note: Allergists also meet people in private clinics.
What to expect?
- An appointment made by telephone and registration with the clinic’s secretary
- Medical consultation with the specialist
- Administration of medication, if necessary
- Tests for identifying allergens that can cause anaphylactic shock, if necessary
- Other tests (conducted on- or off-site) may be ordered
Length of appointment: approximately 10 to 20 minutes
