Internal medicine
The internal medicine outpatient clinic focuses on the diagnosis and overall management of diseases of the adult with special emphasis on systemic diseases and autoimmune diseases in general.
It provides consultation services as well as pre- and post-operative and post-hospitalization follow-up.
How do I access the services?
The unit provides care to adults.
A consultation request must be sent by the referring physician. The application will be assigned a priority timeframe.
What to expect?
- Allow approximately 45 minutes for the first medical appointment (consultation)
- Allow approximately 15 to 30 minutes for follow-up appointments
- Specialist’s decision on completion of follow-up
In internal medicine, the physician may order several diagnostic tests requiring several follow-up appointments.
