In Quebec, institutions that provide protection and rehabilitation services for young people with adjustment difficulties and their families are responsible for providing services related to social and biological history research and reunions.

More specifically, the Director of Youth Protection provides social and biological history research services to children who have been adopted as children or parents who have placed a child in adoption in the Outaouais region.
